Lessons

 

Private and class drum instruction offered by the premier percussion teacher in Hampton Roads. Typical lessons are half an hour every week, but longer time blocks can be accommodated. The studio is located in Newport News near Hampton, convenient to Tabb, Yorktown, Grafton, and Poquoson, but many students have come from Williamsburg, Suffolk, Smithfield, and Carrollton and other surrounding areas. Rudiments and sight reading are emphasized, and lessons can use a variety of tools, from snare drum, full drumset, marching snare, to quads, but all you need to bring is a desire to drum. There is no age limit, anywhere between 6 and 90 is a good place to start! A full audio-visual library is available for checking out to study between lessons.
